The Mas of the Escarida wines are produced in 500 m of altitude, on the slopes of the Cvennes Ardeche. The vines benefit from the sunny South-facing plots and the coolness of the summer nights at this altitude. This allows a gentle ripening of the grapes, which promotes the expression of the fruit and the finesse of the aromas. The nature of the soils (sandstone formed in the Triassic – era) gives minerality to white grapes and red grapes structure. the vine is grown organically. The plots are all located on the gap, in a natural environment of forests and hedgerows, rich in biodiversity. A maximum of grass is maintained in order to promote biodiversity, the life of the soil and its optimal functioning. Our wines are vinified without sulfites, in yeasts and no further manipulation or products. They are neither filtered nor glued in order to preserve all their nutritional and aromatic richness.
