Tenuta delle Terre Nere is owned by Etna maestro Marco de Grazia, one of the pioneers of the region, who has helped to put Etna wines on the map. His philosophy is simple: to achieve quality and consistency in his wines, the focus must be in the vineyards and on the careful viticulture surrounding them. Once in the winery, the fruit is handled with the utmost respect and care, allowing Marco to truly guide the wine into its purest expression of place and time.

The property consists of over 55 hectares, divided into 24 parcels in four contradas, with a total vineyard surface of 27 hectares in production. The majority of the vines are between 50 and 100 years old, and exist in a range of different soils, which give the wines their trademark mineral stoniness. A great team, a delicate hand and a heightened sensibility have afforded Marco the opportunity to create wonderful vinous expressions of this incredible region.
